hello as someone who also loves intensely and has never dealt with heartbreak all that well, i unfortunately probably dont have the best advice. but i still wanted to send something over

you can't force yourself get over things quickly, even if the 'logical' view of the situation makes it seem like you should. even though it's frustrating and heartbreak sucks so so bad, it's normal and sometimes it's best to let yourself fully feel the grief and instead of trying to pretend it's not there/hold it in. there's no timeline to fully recovering from those kinds of feelings, but it will definitely NOT last forever, and you're going to get through it and be able to look back at it one day.

also this may be a cringe thing to say, but when i got broken up with, i dyed my hair and got a new haircut. it gave me the typical 'new beginnings' feeling and helped me a little with letting go of past memories of the relationship and wanting to reinvent myself, even if it was in such a small way like a hairstyle.

whether any of this was helpful or not, no matter what i just wanted to communicate that i wish you the best, and i hope the new year treats you well and is filled with love from good people and new experiences!!!! take care
